The La Plata Project
An exploration-stage critical minerals project in southwestern Colorado.
Metallic Minerals is currently studying the geology and environment, collecting information, and evaluating the mineral potential of the project. We are exploring for critical mineral commodities such as copper, silver, gold, platinum group elements, and other critical minerals. Mineral exploration is the early study stage used to better understand what is underground and whether a project may warrant further evaluation in the future. The La Plata Project is not an operating mine.

We fully recognize the deep historical and cultural ties the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah & Ouray Reservation, the Pueblos of New Mexico and Arizona, and the Navajo Nation have to the four corners region, and it is of utmost importance to us to engage in a manner that honors and respects these connections.
